In 2015, participation in sports, fitness, and related physical activity increased from the previous year, with 56% of the population participating in at least one high-calorie-burning activity. In 2015, approximately 49% of Generation Y/Millennials were involved in high-calorie-burning activities, and over 80% of Generation Z was active.
